Descendence

Descendence is the successor of the Ascendance project, improving on body construction, recovery systems and avionics. The first Descendence launch was again conducted domestically near Karlshöfen, Germany—with the next launch scheduled for September 2026.

Phoenix launch background

Phoenix

Phoenix emerged as successor to the previous KARMA design which failed to launch. Phoenix was initially known as KARMA 2.0 and is ASTRA's first rocket to successfully launch. It was designed to test key subsystems for Transcendence and partake in EuRoC's 9 km category, but was later launched at FAR in California
